Irene is a Physician Assistant in Primary Care and Urgent Care, Menopause Hormone
Specialist, and Health Coach from Vermont who believes strength is the foundation for
every woman’s confidence—at every age and stage.

A proud Paradis Pro, Irene brings the same energy she shares with her clients through
her health coaching business, MenoPower Chick, where she helps women in
perimenopause and menopause reclaim their energy, strength, and joy through science-
backed lifestyle changes and hormone support.
Irene earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Vermont and her
Master’s from Franklin Pierce University, combining medical expertise with an
empowering, real-world approach to women’s empowerment.
A lifelong mover, Irene discovered her love for running in her 30s—starting with half
marathons for the challenge and staying for the community and the clarity it brings.
She’s also an advanced tap dancer, avid weightlifter, and a sourdough baker who
believes balance means doing what makes you feel alive.

But it’s in strength training where Irene truly found her power. What started as a way to
stay active evolved into something deeper—a way to heal her mental health, ease daily
aches and pains, and move through life with confidence and purpose. Every lift reminds
her of what her body is capable of, and she’s proud to show her sons what it means to
be a strong woman—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
At home, Irene is a mom of two boys, one of whom has special needs and inspires
much of her drive and purpose. Her friends and family race together under the name
Team Phelan Lucky, raising awareness and funds for the Phelan-McDermid Syndrome
Foundation—the condition her son lives with.
When she’s not training, coaching, or chasing her boys, you’ll find Irene in the garden or
designing florals for her family’s flower business. Her life blends grit and grace—proof
that power looks different on every woman, and that midlife can be your strongest
chapter yet.
