Laurel Walker feels most at home moving through the mountains—linking ridgelines, flowing between sports, and finding efficiency in wild terrain. A lifelong athlete with a competitive running background, Laurel now pursues a full spectrum of mountain sports including trail and ultrarunning, rock and ice climbing, skiing, and gravel biking. Her favorite days are the ones that blend it all together.

By day, Laurel works full-time in marketing, specializing in writing, editing, athlete management, and strategy. Beyond that, she’s a UESCA-certified ultrarunning coach and an AMGA apprentice rock guide, driven by a deep love of teaching, mentoring, and helping others grow—both outdoors and beyond. When she’s not training or working, you’ll likely find her cooking, baking, or creating something by hand.

Laurel brings together grit and joy in equal measure. She’s fiercely competitive, yet knows when to turn it off and simply savor time in the mountains with friends. A five-time finisher of the iconic Mount Marathon—dubbed the “Toughest 5K on the Planet”—she’s also a multiple 100-mile finisher with numerous wins, podiums, and a course record to her name. In one standout year, she earned her UESCA coaching certification and completed the AMGA Rock Guide Course, a testament to her work ethic and curiosity about her own limits. Growing up on a farm instilled a tenacity that still fuels her approach to sport and life.

This 2026 season, Laurel’s goals include the Wild Horse Gravel in Colorado, the Kaiserkrone Skyrace in Austria, and Run Rabbit Run 100 Mile. On the climbing side, she’s focused on returning stronger after a shoulder injury and sharpening her off-width technique.

Laurel is drawn to Paradis Sport for its thoughtful design, comfort, and breathability—underwear that truly stays put—along with its women-creating-for-women ethos. Inspired by Marie Paradis and dreaming of one day climbing Mont Blanc, Laurel defines success as believing in yourself, setting goals just big enough to be scary, and embracing the journey. When challenges arise, she pauses, breathes, and reminds herself: you can always take one more step.

Grateful, stoked, and all-in, Laurel is thrilled to represent Paradis Sport and help grow the brand—especially within the climbing community.
