Ultra trail runner, physical therapist assistant, community builder—Sara Conrad brings heart, hustle, and authenticity to everything she does.

Based in Minneapolis, Sara thrives on movement—whether she's crushing climbs on the Superior Hiking Trail, gliding across snow on Nordic skis, or flying down singletrack at Afton or Wirth. As a five-time ultramarathon winner—including the legendary Eugene Curnow Trail Marathon and Voyageur 50-miler double—Sara is no stranger to grit, going all-in, and sometimes failing forward. Her love for trail running goes beyond the finish line: it's about the people, the community, and the shared experience. “Ask anyone in Minnesota,” she says, “this trail fam is like no other.”

Sara is a proud member of Mill City Running, a Hoka Flyer, and a Tailwind ambassador. When she’s not racing or training, you’ll find her giving back—crewing, pacing, volunteering, or just showing up for others. “Real connections matter,” she says. “That’s what it’s all about.”

Off the trails, Sara brings the same passion to her work in outpatient orthopedics at Twin Cities Orthopedics, where she’s a running specialist and part of the therapy team supporting Minnesota Distance Elite. She’s also an Elite Provider in Active Release Techniques and serves on both the MN Board of PT and the FSBPT, helping protect the public and elevate care standards in physical therapy.

Sara lives with her partner and their adventure pup, Kona, and spends her weekends hiking, camping, and chasing joy. She’s the kind of person who puts others first, champions her community, and lifts up the people she loves—often more loudly than she lifts herself.

A believer in first layers that work, Sara was drawn to Paradis Sport for exactly that reason. “I love that I don’t even feel like I’m wearing them—and somehow, they still manage to absorb sweat!”

She first discovered Paradis through former coach Amanda Basham and was immediately inspired. “It looked fun and freeing—women running through mountains in their underwear? Wild and wonderful!” she says. “I’m so excited to be part of a community of strong, joyful women who believe, grow, and share their stories.”

With Sara, it’s always about the big picture—family (both blood and chosen), purpose, care, and joy. Welcome to the team, Sara. We’re so lucky to have you.
