We’re excited to welcome Josie Riggs as our newest Paradis Pro. Josie represents so much of what we believe performance can look like: ambitious and resilient, but also deeply connected to health, family, and the realities of everyday life.

Josie is a registered nurse, mom of three, and lifelong runner. She began running competitively at age 10 and went on to compete in cross-country and track at Southern Utah University. Over the course of her development, she lowered her mile time from 5:15 in high school to 4:54 in college and recorded a collegiate 5K best of 17:03.

Her collegiate career was also shaped by recurring injuries and a difficult battle with iron deficiency. Those experiences taught Josie how to advocate for her health, listen to her body, and train with greater patience and intention. She now uses her perspective as both a runner and nurse to help other women recognize potential health concerns, train intelligently, and avoid some of the mistakes she made along the way.

Josie has since completed four marathons and lowered her personal best to 2:44. After welcoming her third child in February 2026, she is rebuilding postpartum and preparing to return to the marathon at The Marathon Project in December. Her long-term goal is to qualify for the 2028 U.S. Olympic Team Trials Marathon.

Through her local running community and @runwithjos, Josie shares more than 21 years of running experience while encouraging women to protect their health and continue pursuing ambitious goals through every season of life. For Josie, success means doing your best within the life you are living and trusting that perseverance through hard things will make you stronger.

We’re proud to support Josie as she navigates this next chapter, from her postpartum return to the start line and every early morning, hard workout, and family-filled day in between. Her story is a powerful reminder that big goals do not require a perfect path. They require the courage to keep showing up.

Welcome to the Paradis Pro team, Josie. We cannot wait to see where this journey takes you.
