We are excited to welcome Ashley, a track and field athlete! Ashley was born and raised in Puerto Rico. Aside from her athletic success, Ashley's passion for sports and movement expands beyond the track. She graduated from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez with a double major degree in PE teacher (k-12) and a BSN. She also has a master in Exercise Physiology from the University of Puerto Rico at Río Piedras. Ashley married her husband in 2019 and they moved to the US in 2021.

Ashley comes from a family of athletes. Her brother plays baseball in the Doble A league in Puerto Rico and in the past he used to play at the NAIA league for Texas and Oklahoma. Ashley’s parents were National athletes of T&F as well and represented the Island for many years.

Ashley’s athletic achievements are impressive. Ashley has been part of the National Puerto Rico team since 2010 representing her country in T&F, XC and half marathons. Ashley has traveled as part of the National Team of Puerto Rico to: Trinidad and Tobago, Dominican Republic, Panamá, El Salvador, Colombia, Venezuela, Canadá, Perú and the United States.

This year, Ashley is working towards trying to have her first ticket to the XTERRA Trail Run World Championship. Additionally, she is looking forward to being part of the next Olympic cycle starting in 2026 with the Centroamerican and Caribbean Games in the Dominican Republic. We wish Ashley the best of luck with her future athletic endeavors!
