We are so excited to introduce our newest ambassador, Kaylee Letteau (a.k.a. Backcountry Baddie).  On May 5, Kaylee set out on the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) where she will be hiking 2,650 miles over the next five months. Beginning in southern California at the Mexican border, Kaylee will hike through California, Oregon, and Washington until reaching the Canadian border.

Spending five months hiking from one campsite to the next is clearly a monumental undertaking in itself, but Kaylee is also doing this in the most sustainable way possible. She is using compostable baggies for her food resupplies and using @terracycle recycling program for things like protein bar wrappers and other trash she finds along the way. A project like this has never been attempted before and we are incredibly proud that Kaylee has chosen the Paradis Sport’s seamless bikini for this adventure!

Thru-hiking (the act of hiking an established long distance trail end-to-end continuously) requires meticulous planning and careful packing. Everything Kaylee is bringing with her is either in her backpack or she’s wearing it.  Hiking 2,650 miles with a pack involves some sweating, which can be countered by jumping in lakes, streams and rivers along the trail. It is imperative that underwear wick sweat and dry fast.

The first time Kaylee tested our seamless bikini in Oregon in March, she wore it to jump in 45-degree water. Here's what she had to say about it: “As a backpacker & thru-hiker I need underwear that has the flexibility to handle sweat, dirt, water crossings, and hand washing. My new Paradis Sport undies pass the water test with flying colors and I could not be more stoked! I cannot believe how fast they dried!"

Our seamless bikini is being put to the ultimate test on the PCT with @backcountry_baddie.  We are so stoked to follow along on Kaylee’s journey  and support her in this project.  Welcome to the Paradis Sport team, Kaylee!
