We are very excited to announce new Paradis Sport ambassador Meg Mackenzie, a South African trail runner who lives for and loves the mountains.  Meg has competed internationally at the highest level for over a decade and her proudest performances so far have been:

3rd place at Pike’s Peak Marathon (USA)

1st place at Ultra Trail Drakensberg (South Africa)

5th place at Mont Blanc Marathon (France)

1st place in the South African National Championships

Meg also represented South Africa at the Long Distance Mountain Running Championships in Switzerland in 2015.

In addition to her athletic achievements, Meg inspires and empowers others through her work as a certified Master 3 life coach.  As a coach, she helps her athletes to “clarify and reach (their) goals, increase motivation, energy and grit.”  She adds, “My ultimate goal is to provide individuals with the knowledge, guidance, support, and skills to better themselves through the discipline of trail running - at whatever level they choose to participate. I firmly believe that with a mentor on your side, offering guidance and support, your goals are never far off.”

Through her adventurous spirit, she welcomes challenges and new experiences with open arms. In 2021 she decided to move from South Africa to Chamonix, France, a move that she saw as an opportunity for learning and growth. Meg says “I want to inspire other powerful women to forge their paths too. I am currently working with a brilliant team in making a documentary about women in sport, focusing specifically on menstrual cycles. My vision is to further empower women through sport, nature and the outdoors.”

We are delighted to join Meg in her quest to strengthen and expand the sport of trail running.  Welcome to the Paradis Pros, Meg!
